New Challenge, Bigger Mission: Yes We Can Cycling Takes on SBT GRVL®

On June 28 in Steamboat Springs, 21 riders line up at one of the country's premier gravel races — chasing a $3 million milestone for kids with disabilities.
We started as a small group of colleagues who liked riding together and wanted to push ourselves. Five years and $2.4 million later, that ride has become something much bigger than any of us.
This June, the Yes We Can Cycling team takes on a brand-new endurance challenge: SBT GRVL® p/b Wahoo, a world-class gravel race in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, on June 28. As always, we're pedaling with purpose that reaches far beyond the finish line.
What We Ride For
Every mile we climb — in training and on race day — is dedicated to someone who motivates us to keep going: a child, a loved one, a friend. Over the past five years, the team has raised $2.4 million to help children and families navigate disabilities and complex health issues, benefiting three nonprofits we're proud to support:
Now in our sixth year, our 21-rider team has set an ambitious goal: $600,000 in 2026, which would bring our cumulative total to $3 million.
Yes, I Ride For
To power through the training and the race, we've launched our 2026 motivational campaign: "Yes, I Ride For."
It's an invitation. We want donors, fans, and our charitable partners to play an active role by telling us who they want the team to ride for — a family member, a friend, or more broadly for kids with disabilities, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. Every dedication turns a mile into a deeply personal act of purpose and connection.
"Every ride we do is bigger than us," said Brad Serot, founder of Yes We Can Cycling. "I ride for my daughter Ava. Our team rides so more families can say 'YES' — to quality care, expanded opportunities, and everyday kid experiences that should be available to all children who need the extra support."
As one of the premier gravel events in the country, SBT GRVL® gives the team a national stage where endurance, community, and purpose come together.
"We're honored to welcome Yes We Can Cycling to the starting line this June," said Amy Charity, Co-Founder and CEO of SBT GRVL®. "Their mission-driven approach to riding embodies what SBT GRVL stands for: community, perseverance, and the belief that the bike can be a powerful force for positive change."
Where the dollars go
The money we raise funds a broad range of support for children and families who need it most — therapy equipment, summer camps for kids with disabilities, and other essential services that make a real difference in everyday life.
