Every Mile Matters: $3 Million Raised. Countless Lives Changed.

Six years ago, one little girl changed the course of our lives.

Her name is Ava.

Her journey with cerebral palsy and epilepsy inspired a movement built on one simple belief: We choose to do hard things so someone else's life can be a little easier.

On June 28, twenty-two members of the Yes We Can Cycling team carried that belief onto the gravel roads surrounding Steamboat Springs, Colorado, to take on one of the country's toughest endurance events: SBT GRVL. More than 100 miles. Over 8,000 feet of climbing. Every mile ridden had a purpose.

Ava may never ride SBT GRVL, but she has inspired hundreds of people to do something they never thought possible. And through this incredible community, she continues to change lives far beyond her own.

What began as one father's response to his daughter's journey has grown into something far bigger than a cycling team. It has become a community of riders, donors, sponsors, volunteers, families, and friends united by a shared purpose.

This year, that community reached an incredible milestone: more than $3 million raised since Yes We Can Cycling was founded. But the number isn't what matters most. What matters are the lives behind it. Because of this community, children, adults, and families are receiving adaptive equipment that creates independence. They're accessing physical and occupational therapy, counseling, grants to attend adaptive camps, and other life-changing resources that help them reach milestones, build confidence, and experience opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.

Every donation—whether $50 or $25,000—helps remove barriers, restore hope, and remind families they are not walking this journey alone.

Months before race day, our riders committed to early mornings, long training rides, fundraising, and countless hours in the saddle. On race day, when the climbs became steeper and the miles became longer, one thing carried us forward: purpose.

This has never been about crossing a finish line.

It's about proving what's possible when ordinary people come together for something bigger than themselves.

To our riders, donors, sponsors, volunteers, families, and friends—thank you. You are the reason this movement continues to grow. Thank you to SBT GRVL for once again providing an unforgettable stage for purpose-driven teams like ours.

Together, we're proud to support the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley, and the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago, helping children, adults, and families access life-changing care, equipment, therapies, and experiences.

Three million dollars is an incredible milestone.

But what inspires us even more are the moments it has made possible—an adaptive bike that creates independence. A therapy session that unlocks new possibilities. A week at camp where confidence and friendships are built. A family finding hope. An adult discovering new opportunities. A caregiver realizing they are not alone.

That's why we ride.

Because every mile matters. Every dollar matters. Every child, every adult, and every family deserves every opportunity to thrive.

Yes. We Can.
